When did the Jews completely leave Israel?

The Jews never completely left Israel. Ever since the Israelite Conquest of the land of Israel around 1200 BCE, there have always been Jews there in greater or larger numbers. It is true that large amounts of Jews were exiled during the destruction of the First and Second Temples (586 BC and 70 AD). However, the Jewish presence in Israel never entirely disappeared, and it was strengthened by periodical waves of Jewish immigration to Israel.
